Library Card Sign-Up Month

September is “Library Card Sign Up Month” and during this event, we like to emphasize the value of a free library card to our communities. Plus, this year MMRLS is offering a digital library for the first time so get yours now by visiting midmisslib.com/library-cards.

MMRLS will start offering library cards featuring our new logo and colors on them with designs available for both kids and adults. If you would like to upgrade to the new card design for free, simply let our staff know on your next visit before the end of September 2020.

A library card opens a world of free e-books, audiobooks, movies, television shows, comic books/graphic novels/manga, high speed internet access, online databases, and over 3 million books without paying any subscription fees!

Ready to sign up? It’s easy! All you need is a photo ID and proof of address. Lost your library card? No problem! During the month of September, current library users who have lost their library card may obtain a replacement card completely free of charge. Visit or call your local library for more information.
